Create organisation

An organisation refers to the company, group or person with overall responsibility for producing the event. An organisation can take any form, including a corporation, private company, performance group or individual.

This organisation will remain in EdFringeware year on year and will be the umbrella body for any venues or shows that you create.

So if you've previously created an organisation, you do not need to do so again.

To start, select Create Organisation from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.

Organisation and Address Details

Fill in the Organisation and Address Details sections of this form. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

You also have the option to add an organisation image. This image will used to represent your organisation account on EdFringeware and will not be used in the printed programme. However if you are a venue owner/manager and choose to advertise your venues through the Fringe, then this image may be used as part of that. The image that you are going to use needs to first be saved somewhere on your computer, then click the 'Select' button on the form and navigate to where you have saved the image before attaching it to your EdFringeware account.

Primary Contact

The Primary Contact for your organisation can be yourself or another person.

If you start to type an EdFringeware user's name in the Contact field then a drop down box will display all similar names registered with EdFringeware and you can select the correct one before saving.

If the person that you want to invite to be the Primary Contact isn't registered with EdFringeware, select or add contact details before filling out the rest of the invitation. If they aren't already an EdFringeware user they will have to register and be invited to your organsation in order to see your information. See Invite another user for more information.

Once you have saved your organisation, a tab will appear towards the top of the page with sections called Organisation, Payout Details, Shows, Venues and People. For help with any of these pages, please use the links on the left hand side of this help site.
